School Dismissal App

The system currently serves 88 schools, 1,587 students and 8,600 parents, and is part
of a long series of projects we have delivered for the same client.

The app provides functionality for all participants, allowing them to track and manage arrival times and schedules.

For school administrators:

• Management of students’ arrivals and departures, including oversight of schedules and extracurricular activities.
• Real-time tracking of parents' arrival to help prepare students for departure in advance.
• Communication with parents and other school staff through a built-in chat for quick issue resolution.
• Receiving notifications via push notifications and email to stay informed of any changes.

For parents:

• Real-time management of the child’s pickup and drop-off process.
• Managing the child’s schedule and participation in school and extracurricular activities.
• Notifying the school of arrival times or schedule changes.
• Communication with the school administration through chat.
• Receiving notifications via push notifications and email to stay updated on the latest information.

Under the hood:

• Real-time GPS tracking of vehicles with arrival predictions, so staff can have a child
  ready before the car reaches the gate.
• Role-based access for parents, school staff and administrators.
• Integration with the school's student information system.
• Digital signatures on every handover, with messaging and notifications across the app.
