1. Who we are

This website is operated by 23 Developers LLC (“23devs”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, BIN 220440020767, at Zhenis Avenue 72, Astana 010000, Kazakhstan.

2. What this policy covers

It covers the personal data we collect through this website, at 23devs.com. It does not cover data you provide to us under a separate signed agreement, which is governed by that agreement, nor the practices of any third-party website we link to.

3. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic technical information about the visit.

When you submit the contact form: your name, email address, and — if you choose to fill them in — your company, phone number, preferred engagement model and the description of your project.

Automatically, when you browse the site: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the referring page. This comes from ordinary server logs and, where enabled, from web analytics.

We do not ask for and do not want special categories of data — health, biometrics, political or religious views — and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

4. Why we use it

Contact form data is used for one thing: to answer you, and to discuss the project you wrote to us about. If that discussion turns into an engagement, the same details are used to prepare the proposal and the contract.

Technical data is used to keep the site running, to diagnose faults, and to understand in aggregate which pages people find useful.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a project enquiry.

5. Who else sees it

Your data is accessible to the 23devs employees who need it to answer you — typically a project manager and, for technical questions, an engineer.

We also rely on service providers who process data on our behalf: hosting and infrastructure providers that run this site and our mail, and web analytics. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We disclose data to anyone else only where we are legally required to, or where you have asked us to.

6. Where it is stored

Our infrastructure is operated by providers who may store and process data outside Kazakhstan. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected to the standard described in this policy.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to three years, so that we have context if you come back to us. Data connected to a signed contract is kept for as long as the contract runs and for the period afterwards required for accounting and tax purposes.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see section 9.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and may use web analytics to measure traffic. Analytics cookies record how the site is used — which pages are opened, how long a visit lasts, which site you arrived from — in a form that we use in aggregate rather than to identify you personally.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not stop you using this site.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your data, where we have no continuing obligation to keep it;
• stop using your data for a particular purpose;
• withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Write to sales@23devs.com and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you are entitled to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: encrypted connections, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and regular updates to the systems we run. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. The current version always lives at 23devs.com/privacy.
